DAY3: COMMERCIAL ART CEREAL BOX

Our third day of Commercial Art Camp is about cereal box. We have this activity so much because students can experience painting, sculpturing, and crafting within one artwork.

We start the session with looking at a cereal box and what’s kind of information, pictures, and colors on the box. Such as we draw a chicken showing that having cereal in the morning. Corn represents the ingredients, and the color represents the flavor like strawberry and blueberry.

Then we let students choose the colors based on the flavors they like and of course based on their imagination. Then we use air-dried clay to make some cereal and dried fruits creating a 3 dimension for the work.

Check out these cereal boxes. Which one would you like to buy and taste?
